R.I.P., Old Decisions

Happy National Tattoo Removal Day! We know what you’re thinking: wait, is that a real holiday? Yes, it really is.

What is a tattoo if not a symbol of who you used to be? And in many instances, “who you used to be” doesn’t necessarily jibe with “who you are now”. Don’t beat yourself up; in the words of Miley Cyrus, “Don’t fight evolution, because you will never win.” We’re the first people to tell you that it’s okay to change your mind.

Why is National Tattoo Removal Day on August 14th? Because most small-sized script tattoos take about six months to remove—which means that if you start today, you can magically scrub “Helga” from your bicep and be ready for true love come Valentine’s Day.

Watch our video salute to some of the fallen soldiers disappearing from bodies near you (and not a day too soon).

Share your favorite—or least favorite—tattoo from the video in the comments!
