Dr. Griffin’s first love was drawing, and the ability to combine art and science is what attracted him to Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. It is Dr. Griffin’s firm belief that aesthetic and reconstructive surgery skills are complementary. He attended University of Virginia and completed his Head and Neck Surgery training at the University of Michigan. Dr. Griffin then completed a fellowship in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the University of Southern California and Cedars-Sinai Hospitals in Beverly Hills, California. During this time, he gained considerable experience in performing aesthetic facial surgery including facelifts, cosmetic eyelid surgery (blepharoplasty), otoplasty, and rhinoplasty. Dr. Griffin is Board Certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery.
Dr. Griffin has a passion for caring for patients with Bell’s palsy and facial nerve injury, and trained at the Facial Paralysis Institute during his time in California. He is one of the nation’s experts in this field, and performs the full range of procedures for facial paralysis. He is the author of numerous book chapters and scientific publications, and has presented his research at multiple national and international symposia. He has also been featured in the Wall Street Journal and on major local television including Twin Cities Live and the KSTC 45 Morning News.
Amanda Carter, L.M.E., C.M.L.T.

Since receiving her medical aesthetics license and laser certification in 2008 she has overseen more than 50,000 laser treatments. Amanda has a passion for developing team members and is experienced at creating, implementing, and managing treatment protocol and clinic procedures. She has personally performed almost 8,000 laser tattoo removal treatments and has a proven track record in the successful operational oversight, hiring, and training of key staff members in a multi-unit clinic operation. Amanda maintains a close relationship with the laser manufacturers and is the only non-employee in the nation to be certified by CynoSure and Syneron-Candela as a PicoSure and PicoWay Master Trainer.
Darcy Blasing has been in the medical aesthetics industry for over 10 years. She graduated as a licensed Esthetician and then continued her education to become a certified laser technician, specializing in advanced skincare. Darcy’s passion and enthusiasm for helping others look and feel their very best is what led her to a career at Invisible Ink Tattoo Removers. Darcy believes Invisible Ink offers a service that is truly a gift to her clients, and she loves to partner with each one of them to help achieve their tattoo removal goals.
Tera earned herself a place on the Dean’s list when she graduated from Saint Paul College as a Licensed Esthetician in 2015. Her passion for the industry drove her to further her education at the National Laser Institute in Dallas, Texas where she became a Certified Laser Technician and Laser Safety Officer. Thorough and detailed in her approach, Tera has performed thousands of safe and effective laser tattoo removal treatments. Tera believes no one should be defined by their past nor should decisions they’ve made in the past have to affect their future. “We all deserve a second chance, a clean slate.” This mentality is what drives Tera to be the best in the industry.
Maddy graduated from St. Paul College and is a licensed esthetician. Eager to further her education, she went on to become a certified laser technician through Luxury Laser in Bloomington MN. Maddy’s love for helping others lead her to Invisible Ink where she is able to work hands on with clients to achieve their tattoo removal goals.
