Meet Dr. Lynam
Dr. Gregory T. Lynam is Richmond’s only board-certified plastic and maxillofacial surgeon. Following a tradition of European training in maxillofacial surgery, he studied and obtained both a dental degree and a medical degree at the Medical College of Virginia. He also completed several years of general surgery training before entering the plastic surgery training program at the Medical College of Virginia. Dr. Lynam spent an additional one-year fellowship in cosmetic surgery under internationally respected Dr. Howard Tobin at the Cosmetic Surgical Center of Texas.
Dr. Lynam is a member of “Access Now,” Richmond’s largest group of doctors who volunteer their services. He was voted one of Richmond’s “Top Docs” in plastic surgery and one of Richmond’s “Best Plastic Surgeons to take you back 20 years” by Richmond Magazine in 2010. Additionally, he is known as an expert plastic surgeon on RealSelf and was honored as one of the Top 100 Doctors on RealSelf in 2013. He has served as Chief of Medical Staff at Stony Point Surgery Center, and is a founder of Richmond Surgical Arts, Inc.
Amanda Carter, L.M.E., C.M.L.T.
Vice President of Clinical Operations
Since receiving her medical aesthetics license and laser certification in 2008 she has overseen more than 50,000 laser treatments. Amanda has a passion for developing team members and is experienced at creating, implementing, and managing treatment protocol and clinic procedures. She has personally performed almost 8,000 laser tattoo removal treatments and has a proven track record in the successful operational oversight, hiring, and training of key staff members in a multi-unit clinic operation. Amanda maintains a close relationship with the laser manufacturers and is the only non-employee in the nation to be certified by CynoSure and Syneron-Candela as a PicoSure and PicoWay Master Trainer.
Summer was born and raised in Richmond. She has over 10 years of experience in the spa industry as a dual licensed massage therapist and Aesthetician. Her love for skin has transitioned her into laser tattoo removal. She has recently obtained her Master Aesthetics License from American Spirit Institute and is very excited to bring her extensive knowledge of skin to Invisible Ink.
Tiffany, a Richmond native, began piercing in 2009 at one of the busiest tattoo shops in Richmond. There, she spend over five years as a licensed Body Piercer, with First Aid, CPR, and Bloodborne Pathogen training. During that time, she studied Permanent Cosmetic Tattooing at the Beau Institute in Mount Laurel, New Jersey. Upon returning to Richmond, she became a licensed Permanent Cosmetic Tattooer. After her experience at the Beau Institute, she fell in love with skin. In 2013, she began her Aesthetic journey at American Spirit, where she specialized in skin care and waxing. She is excited to have the opportunity to mesh her tattooing experience and knowledge of the skin with laser tattoo removal at Invisible Ink.
