Dr. Scott Walen is a Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon who is boarded in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (RCPSC). He then went on to complete a fellowship sanctioned by the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (AAFPRS) in 2012 at Washington University in St. Louis. During this time, he was trained in both reconstructive and cosmetic surgery of the face, head, and neck.
Currently, Dr. Walen is an Assistant Professor and Chief of Facial Plastic Surgery at Saint Louis University. He is also Associate Program Director of the Head and Neck Surgery Training program. His practice focuses both on the aesthetic and functional functions of the face. He has presented original research and given educational talks throughout North America and has been featured on the local news discussing relevant facial plastic surgery topics.
Amanda Carter, L.M.E., C.M.L.T.

Since receiving her medical aesthetics license and laser certification in 2008 she has overseen more than 50,000 laser treatments. Amanda has a passion for developing team members and is experienced at creating, implementing, and managing treatment protocol and clinic procedures. She has personally performed almost 8,000 laser tattoo removal treatments and has a proven track record in the successful operational oversight, hiring, and training of key staff members in a multi-unit clinic operation. Amanda maintains a close relationship with the laser manufacturers and is the only non-employee in the nation to be certified by CynoSure and Syneron-Candela as a PicoSure and PicoWay Master Trainer.
Jason has been in the health and wellness field for over 24 years. His career spans over many areas of expertise, focusing on people, process and products through building relationships with integrity, commitment, care and trust. Although new to the to Invisible Ink, Jason’s passion for health & wellness and helping others translates to outstanding client care and is the perfect fit. Jason’s approach to the process emphasizes education and transparency throughout the removal process; ensuring clients are confident, comfortable, and excited. He is a firm believer in building likability, report and trust with every client along with outlining expectations, making sure questions and concerns are always clearly communicated. Working with Invisible Ink and the top of the line technology, people and process ensures he improving each client’s confidence and quality of life.
Gina Carapella is a Licensed Esthetician and Certified Laser Specialist. She developed a passion for skincare in 2011 by working directly with medical skincare lines and soon decided to dedicate her professional life to aiding clients with their skincare education and needs. She graduated in 2012 from The Salon Professional Academy and shortly thereafter began working in the hair removal field where she excelled for over 5 years. Wanting further growth, she decided to open her own skincare center where she was able to assist clients with everything from hair removal to corrective skin solutions. She is very excited about having the opportunity to assist people in the removal of unwanted tattoos. Gina is incredibly enthusiastic and prides herself on the ability to help clients through uncomfortable procedures. She is very passionate about caring for people and their desired skin-related goals.
